How does Designer BrendaLJones embrace  Being African American?

IT’s simple I’m in love with my culture and how God  made me I realized a long time ago that conforming to society and their opinions about my blackness is unnatural. when you accept who you are then you can accept what God has for you.

Hey African American woman you were made to Be Fabulous

Hey Black girl Love who you are Be bold be beautiful understand your not defined by what Society believe is beautiful. We are Art we are rhythm we are strong our strength is stronger then most. Embrace it Love it Look in the mirror and know you are everything God has engineered you to be  Hey black woman do you know the difference between talking white and speaking proper English.  Do you know if we praised and supported one  another our businesses would be more successful and our perception of each other would be brighter. Hey Black lady have you taught your children about their history  Have you shared the poem Phenomenal Woman By Maya Angelou with your young girls. Lets inspire one another to be great.

And ain’t I a woman? Look at me! Look at my arm! I have ploughed and planted, and gathered into barns, and no man could head me! And ain’t I a woman? I could work as much and eat as much as a man – when I could get it – and bear the lash as well! And ain’t I a woman? I have borne thirteen children, and seen most all sold off to slavery, and when I cried out with my mother’s grief, none but Jesus heard me! And ain’t I a woman?
