April 24,2015 I had the Opportunity to help my grandmother get my little cousin Tay together for her Junior Prom. Tay knew what she wanted when she came for her consultation asking for a high low skirt and a lace purple sequin top. The purple top matched her skin tone adding a black skirt with ruffles and 60 inch train for drama. Every BrendaLJonesClothing Doll add drama to their BLJ garment. She wore something similar to one of the dresses from the 2014 BrendaLJonesClothing collection. Just like a big Designer Cousin my grandmother and I made it happen. She called me for everything makeup hair shoes and accessories .
Standing with her is my other little Markia. Tay decided to be non-traditional and take her little cousin Markia to the prom which I totally adore. She is slaying in a different dress but similar to Tay’s Dress. I wanted them to match slightly but not completely so I created a pink sequin top with a polka dot back and a black high low semi-train skirt. The goal was to match their personalities. Their make-up was done by MUA Lo-Bell brand LiveintheBeauty Dresses by Me Designer BrendalJonesClothing was the perfect match for the two beauties. When they walked down the stairs on to their red carpet the smiles on their faces were out of this world. Special thanks to my Grandmother Brenda Patterson for cooking the food for the girls big day. It takes a village to raise a child and we are their village.
